Gitarre aus Quebec

Hallo Leute!

Ich habe eine alte Gitarre von mir wieder gefunden, die ich schon ganz vergessen hatte.

Ich spiele leider nicht Gitarre und habe sie selber vor Jahren geschenkt bekommen. Habe damals den Umstieg vom Klavier auf das handlichere Instrument versucht, aber ich kam mit nur 6 Saiten einfach nicht zu recht

Wie dem auch sein, bei der Gitarre handelt es sich um eine hangefertigte Kamouraksa (aus Quebec) aus dem Jahre 1980.

Leider ist mir eine Saite gerissen, aber die kosten ja eigentlich nichts.

Da ich sie nicht brauche, möchte ich sie veräußern. Nur leider weiß ich nicht, wieviel ich dafür verlangen kann. Der jenige, der sie mir geschenkt hat, meinte einmal, dass er sie für 400€ (inkl. Tasche) in einem Musikgeschäft gekauft hätte.

Kann man so viel dafür verlangen?

Lys guitars were made in LaPatrie Quebec. They are often described as the first guitars made by Robert Godin who developped the Seagull Guitar. This is incorrect. The Lys was made by Canadian Luthier Norman Butcher who also made the Kamouraska classical guitar. In the last part of 1980 a fire just about destroyed the Shop Butcher was operating and he did not have the financial ability to rebuild so he sold out to Godin, who remamed the Lys "seagull" and the kamouraska the "LaPatrie" Godin then developed the Simon and Patrick the Art&Luthier and the Norman.

I've only lurked for the past year, was busy working on the Boucher guitars web site.
Let me add a few comments here.
Robert Godin was involve with Norman guitars before 1972 when he was a salesman in LaTosca music store in Montreal.
In 1972 was founded "Les instruments de musique Sibcor Ltee" which would buy the whole production from "Les guitares Normand enr.", then later in the same year from "Les guitares Norman Inc". Sibecor would then be the unique distributor worldwide for the make. Normand Boucher designed the first Norman guitars and was behind the start up of what is today a quite big local tradition of guitar making in La Patrie.
Lys and Kamouraska guitars were made by a company called "Unisonic Inc" and founded in 1979 by Robert Godin and Claude Boucher.
Claude is the son of Normand Boucher and left the Norman shop at that time to fly is own way.
After the facilities were bought by in 1982 Lasido/Guitabec (M. Godin without Claude), the Lys would become the Seagull, the Kamouraska would become the La Patrie.
There are no Simon & Patrick production before 1986 I beleive
Today, the Lasido shop down in the village is where was the old Norman shop, the Lasido shop up the hill is where the old Unisonic shop was.
The Norman electric was a design of Claude Boucher after he came back with Norman
The later electric line "illegal" was designed with the help of luthier Brian Monty.
Anyway that's just bits of the whole saga.

Btw. ich finde 400 schon recht ambitioniert, ok haengt davon ab, was es fuer ein Modell ist und ob alles massiv oder nicht, aber mehr Infos finde ich mit Google nicht.

Bei Google habe ich auch schon gesucht aber nichts brauchbares gefunden.

Wie kann ich die Gitarre denn wohl am besten verkaufen? Habe davon leider recht wenig Ahnung
