Verfasst: Do Apr 11, 2013 10:43 am
Ab einer Teilnehmerzahl von 5 Personen würden wir gerne einen Workshop mit Michael am 04.05.2013 anbieten. 2 Stunden Powerworkshop, Gebühr 40 Euro.
Inhalte:
The workshops run for approximately 2 hours, and cover a huge variety of styles & techniques that are possible on the acoustic guitar. Michael has one rule: "there are no rules!" and this idea is reinforced by demonstrating a number of thought-provoking ideas such as: overcoming stage fright, use of digital effects, using the guitar as a percussion instrument, unconventional use of capos, recording techniques, and assorted ideas to stimulate creativity.
As well as this, various solo techniques are explored: fingerstyle a la Chet Atkins & Jerry Reed, flatpicking, "swamp" pickin', combining finger and plectrum styles. Also considered are a variety of tips, tricks & techniques that are useful to players of all levels.
Michael presents his workshops in a breezy, humorous style, answering questions & addressing issues with personal anecdotes. As Michael explains at the beginning of each session: "we are here because we all have one thing in common - we all love the guitar! There are no secrets here - I'm happy to show you anything you wish to know about."
Michael's aim is to inspire players to explore the possibilities of the acoustic guitar, and if past workshops are anything to go by, there are now many more inspired guitarists everywhere!
